Finally! After so long of putting up with buffer periods that take forever, links that lead to computer viruses, and mostly unreliable websites (except for a select few), we finally get to stream some K-dramas on a reliable streaming service! Netflix finally works with some Korean actors and producers to produce some Netflix Original K-Dramas, and here are some of them:

My First First Love

Who doesn’t love a good, romantic and comedic growing-up story? Well, take that, and multiply it by 5, because this drama follows the life of college student Yun Tae-o and how his friends unexpectedly move into his home, and their experiences with first love as they fall, one by one.

Status: Season 1-2 complete, Season 3 pending

Kingdom

This drama will leave you sitting at the edge of your seat as the Joseon-period-set story unfolds about Crown Prince Yi-Chang. The prince, whose father has fallen ill, is forced to set out and get to the bottom of an undead plague spreading through the southern provinces. A refreshing thriller well-received by its audiences, the series is set to come back for a season 2.

Status: Season 1 complete, Season 2 confirmed

Love Alarm

Sometimes titles are meant to be metaphorical, but this takes on a literal sense. Love Alarm follows the lead, Kim Jojo, as she navigates through a world where a phone application alerts you when anyone within a 10-meter radius is attracted to you. If you’re wondering whether the app is genius, entertaining, or deserves its own spot in Black Mirror, watch the series and find out!

Status: Season 1 upcoming, uploads on Thursdays

Memories of the Alhambra

Speaking of Black Mirror, this series also delves into the future of technology with a video game gone wrong. Said video game involves itself with the advanced concept of augmented reality, inspired by the stories told about Alhambra Palace, as the series is set in Spain. Soon after its test run, death and accidents follow CEO Yoo Jin-woo, and he struggles to figure out why.

Status: Series complete

Designated Survivor: 60 Days

Designated Survivor: 60 Days is the Korean adaptation of American series, Designated Survivor. This nail-biting political thriller follows the story of Minister of Environment Park Mu-jin, who is forced to take on the role of South Korean President as an explosion kills the most high-ranking officials, including the president. We watch as the reluctant president struggles his way through leading a country.

Status: Season 1 ongoing, uploads on Mondays
