If you happen to be either type and happen to be in Seoul, here are 5 brunch places you can enjoy!


Clarté Coffee

     If you like big windows that let the sun filter in naturally or like to enjoy your brunch in a nook among some trimmed greenery outdoors, Clarté Coffee can give you either. With scrumptious open-faced toasts, an assortment of cakes, and colorful drinks to enjoy with the all-around epitome of modern interior design this underrated place is worth a visit.

Café Highwaist

     This place is absolutely underrated for a place with one of the best ambiances you’ll ever see in a café, along with an impressive assortment of scones, cakes, and pastries to boot. Eye-catching vintage little trinkets here and there, warm orange lights that make the place feel homey, and good food, this place is great for your eyes, soul, and Instagram feed.

Erolpa

     Erolpa brings a unique and unusual type of interior design to the table-- a mix of naked concrete, rich wood furniture, sun-welcoming glass windows, and touches of royal blue-- but it certainly works. Not to mention the gorgeous food spread in front of a long table, as if you’re at a dressed-down royal banquet. It’s a place you have to see.

     The interior may be modern, clean, and monochromatic in a way that’s trendy in establishments these days, but the food is definitely not. Your plate (platter, rather) will surely be piled high with a variety of rich, colorful, flavorful breakfast foods that’ll leave your pants button popping and brunch-craving stomachs satisfied. This place should definitely be recognized more!

     Among the first four underrated places above, Butterfinger Pancakes definitely can’t be left out in any list of brunch recommendations. Well-known enough for their food and their two branches in Seoul, this casual New York-diner-inspired restaurant serves the biggest platters of any brunch food under the sun, making it perfect for a mid-morning binge.
